LPI Care Support Package
5 x LPI & LT-2D3D Laser Templator

1. Introduction

Laser Products Industries (LPI) warrants that the 5 x LPI and LT-2D3D Laser Templator and accessories (the “Product” or “Laser Templator” or “LT” or “tablet” or “tripod”) from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and storage, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1), two (2), or three (3) year(s) from the original date of purchase.

Previously owned products that were purchased from third parties can be brought under LPI’s official warranty policy (See Warranty Policy:  5 x LPI & LT-2D3D Laser Templator) provided they meet the criteria set forth in this policy.

2. Eligibility Criteria

Customers who acquire a previously owned Product originally sold by LPI may be eligible to purchase an extended warranty as part of a support package under the following conditions:

2.1 Proof of Ownership

The Product must be verified as originally sold by LPI or an authorized distributor. Customers will be required to provide proof of purchase from the original purchaser to determine eligibility and legal ownership. This is to ensure that only genuine LPI products with verifiable origins are granted support and warranty coverage.

    3. Address of company
    4. Phone number of company
    5. Note: Payment details (amount the Product was purchased for) can be blacked out.
  2. Customer submits product details
    1. Product Name
    2. Model
    3. Serial Number
  3. If LPI approves the application the customer is responsible for shipping the Product to LPI for inspection.

2.2 Product Inspection

The Product must pass an inspection by LPI service representatives to ensure it qualifies for warranty coverage. Any repairs or servicing needed to meet the minimum required standards will be at the customer’s expense and must be completed and paid for before warranty coverage is issued.

  1. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs when sending the Product to LPI for inspection.
    1. Optional: Customers can request LPI to coordinate all shipments they are responsible for using LPI’s UPS negotiated rates. LPI will provide return shipping labels for all products and loaners to be shipped to LPI.
  2. LPI service technicians inventory all equipment and accessories included and take note of missing items.
    1. If any required equipment (tripod, tablet, mounts, and/or chargers) is missing, an estimate will be provided to the customer prior to Product testing for approval.
  3. LPI service technicians will test the Product’s functionality and determine if it meets or exceeds the minimum requirements to pass inspection.
    1. If the Product fails inspection, an updated estimate will be provided to the customer with any additional costs for replacement parts and labor to meet the minimum required standards and pass inspection.
    2. If the customer approves parts and labor estimate, LPI will repair the Product ensuring it meets the minimum required standards to pass inspection.
    3. If the customer does not approve the parts and labor estimate, LPI will return the Product to the customer. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. 

3. Warranty Tier Selection

Gold and Platinum warranties are available to be purchased with the support package.

4. Warranty Activation Fee

Since the Product was not purchased directly from LPI, a warranty activation fee of $350 is required to cover inspection and administration costs. This fee must be paid in full at the time of support package purchase.

5. Coverage & Limitations

Once activated, the warranty will cover the Product as per the standard terms outlined for the selected warranty tier. However, the warranty does not apply to any pre-existing conditions or issues discovered at the time of inspection of the Product, tripod, or tablet that do not affect the functionality of the system as a whole.

6. Software Licensing

LT3Raptor is provided as the software license when purchasing a support package. The Support package includes one (1) LT3Raptor standard license with one (1) month of service. After the included one (1) month of service has concluded, a paid subscription of LT3Raptor is required. Pricing information can be found at https://www.laserproductsus.com/lt3raptor/pricing/.

Customers that have previously purchased an eligible LT-2D3D from LPI and are still using LT1 are eligible to receive one (1) LT1 license for the tablet controlling the Product.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall LPI be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, or lost profits, arising out of or in connection with the use of the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The total liability of LPI under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.

8. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Will Country, located in Illinois. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this warranty will be resolved in the courts of Will Country.

9. Consumer Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. This warranty does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
